Shadownyl™ is obtained from Fucus vesiculosus, a type of seaweed that is renewably hand collected from the Gulf of Maine. This hardy species of algae is subjected to the trials of the nature, surviving through dehydration, UV radiation from the sun, thermal stress, and oxidation.
