INCI: Retinol (and) Polysorbate-20
Retinol 50 is a high active load of retinol, but does not contain ingredients of concern BHA and BHT. The removal of these ingredients allows Retinol 50 to better align with many industry clean lists. Compared to BASF’s existing Retinol 50C grade, Retinol 50 has similar stability performance without the addition of BHA and BHT. The new Retinol 50 grade also offers flexibility for product developers to further stabilize final formulations to their liking.
